Paris Fury has bravely shared her emotional journey following a miscarriage that occurred just hours before her husband Tyson Fury’s recent boxing match.
The couple, who have expressed a desire for a large family, had been expecting their eighth child when Paris suffered the tragic loss.
In her first interview since the incident, Paris detailed the moment she learned about the miscarriage. “I knew there was a problem,” she recalled, describing her disbelief as she looked at the sonogram.
After being informed by the sonographer, she was overwhelmed with emotion, feeling frantic and devastated.
Paris has experienced multiple losses, having previously lost babies in 2014 and 2018.
She spoke about the profound grief of delivering two baby boys who were stillborn, saying, “It’s 10 times worse for me,” as she reflected on the emotional toll of carrying a child and facing such a loss.
The timing of the miscarriage added an extra layer of heartache, as Paris had to inform Tyson that she wouldn’t be attending his fight against Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh.
She initially cited high blood pressure as the reason for her absence, wanting to shield him from the painful news until after the match. Paris explained, “I wanted to tell him in person, after the fight.”
Despite the trauma, Paris emphasized her determination to heal and grow stronger. Tyson, reflecting on the situation, acknowledged the difficulty of being away from Paris during such a challenging time.
He had sensed something was wrong when she called to cancel her trip. “I knew she lost that baby,” he said, expressing his sorrow for not being there for her during the loss.
