Registered Voters can now access their details on the EC website, Mobile App, and USSD code

Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC) has on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, released the final voters register for the upcoming December 7, 2020, Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

In a press release, the EC revealed that the full voters register is now out and available for free for all eligible voters to seamlessly check their details ahead of the elections.

And according to them, eligible voters will be able to check out their details for free in three electronic formats, by visiting the EC’s website, using the official mobile app, and also using a USSD code to access their details.

“To access your voter registration details, registered voters should visit the website and enter their 10-digit Voter ID card number. see the image below.

2. How to check your details using the USSD

To access your voters registration details, registered voters need to dial *711*2020# on any phone and on all network, enter their Voter ID card number and the Polling Station Code where they registered. This information is available on the voter’s voter card.

3. How to check your details using the Mobile APP

“Registered voters can also check their details through the EC Android Application – Ghana EC Voters Information Hub – that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store,” the press release stated.

According to the Commission, the usage of this mobile application is similar to the USSD but allows voters to scan the QR Code on their Voter ID Card to retrieve their details.
