Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name, Wizkid has grabbed two major Nominations in the upcoming 2022 Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy has on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021, announced the nominations via a virtual livestream, with the main event, the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony scheduled to come off on January 31, 2022.
Well, Nigeria’s superstar, Wizkid is really making his homeland proud as he grabs himself nominations in two categories.
This good news comes after the singer won big at the just ended 2021 AFRIMA Awards as we won the Afrobeats artiste of all time after he won three awards at the 2021 edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).

GRAMMY AWARDS 2022: Wizkid got nominated in the Global music segment in the Best Global Music Performance, and Best Global Music Album categories.
Wizkid’s hit song “Essence that features Tem” grabbed him nominations in the Best Global Music Performance category while his “Made In Lagos: Deluxe Edition” Best Global Music Album category.
