2023: Sanusi Urges Nigerians to Get Voters Cards, Elect Competent Leaders

The President General of Jam’iyyatu Ansariddeen, Muhammad Sanusi, urges Nigerians to get their PVC (Permanent Voters Card) and vote in competent leaders. The president publicly made this known in the event of 4th Nigeria World Maulid Anniversary following a 3-day annual conference themed: ”The Prophetic Solutions To The Questions of Humanity.”

The conference was held in Lokoja, Kogi State and was hosted by the governor, Yahaya Bello. Sanusi during the event urged Nigerians to look beyond religion, ethnicity in 2003 and vote for competent leaders irrespective of social or religious affiliation.

The president general who is the former emir of Kano State have also thanked the governor Bello for granting their request for the provision of land to site the “International Islamic Centre.”

Sanusi also implored Nigerians to embrace peace and stay united; praying for the development and growth of her economy.

The governor of Kogi state called the day a memorable and historic one and further went on assured Nigerians of his fairness and equity.

The governor said:

“great messages of unity, love, hard work, peace, tolerance and taking our destinies into our hands, which remains the message of President Muhammadu Buhari.”

More so, the famous political figure was awarded with a Holy Quran by the son of late Ibrahim Niass, Muhammad Niass who hailed from Senegal.

The conference was marked by the presence of several distinguished guests from different parts of the globe including Morocco and Cameron.

Sanusi in a statement said:

”If our youths get employed, the economy of the entire country will improve.

”Most importantly, we are not a political party but we cannot fold our arms and ignore politics.”

”Every member of Attijaniyya from 18 years old and above, male or female, go and get your voters card.”

”Allah commands you that you should place trust in the hands of those people who are trustworthy.”

”Now, we are at the time where those who appoint leaders are the people, your vote is your power, you have a responsibility.”

”I am not saying you must vote only for members of Attijaniyya, Muslim, or for any political party; you are to vote for every position the best person that is most competent.”

”If you don’t take this responsibility you have betrayed Islam. We must preserve the unity of this country to ensure self-reliance, education peace and unity”.
