On Tuesday, September 16, BET announced the anticipated 2024 “BET Hip Hop AWARDS” nominees, and here we are to share you the complete list of artists, who made the list, and who topped it.
American rapper, Megan Thee Stallion leads this year’s nominations with an outstanding twelve nods in total. Megan got nominations in categories including ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Lyricist of the Year,’ ‘Hip Hop Album of the Year,’ ‘Hip Hop Artist of the Year,’ ‘Hustler of the Year,’ ‘Best Live Performer,’ ‘Best Hip Hop Video,’ ‘Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse,’’ ‘Impact Track,’ and three in the category for ‘Best Collaboration.’
However, Megan was followed closely by Kendrick Lamar who had eleven nominations in categories such as ‘Best Hip Hop Video,’ ‘Best Live Performer,’ ‘Lyricist of the Year,’ twice for ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘best Collaboration.’ ‘Hip Hop Artist of the Year,’ ‘Video Director of the Year,’ ‘Impact Track,’ ‘Hustler of the Year,’ and ‘Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse’.
Lamar was followed by his rival, Drake with a total of eight nominations, whiles the likes of Cardi B, GloRilla, Metro Boomin, and Nicki Minaj each scored seven nods. Future and Travis Scott tie with six nods each.

Who Will Hot The Awards?
The 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards will be hosted by none other than rapper Fat Joe. He will also co-executive produce the show, which is set to tape in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Oct. 8
What Is The Date and Time?
According to the organizers, the location for the event to be held is Las Vegas, NV, however, as mentioned above, the event will taped on Oct 8, and aired on BET one week later, on Tuesday, October. 15, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
