The tragic event comes just hours after Zanele had made plans to take her family to the beach, a promise she had made after recently receiving her pay.

Anela recalled that Zanele had also promised to buy snacks for the younger children in the family, but when she did not return, Anela grew concerned and decided to check on her at the boyfriend’s house.

Baxolise reportedly remained angry and aggressive after the attack, even attempting to force Zanele to stand when it was clear she was severely injured.
