24th VGMAs: KiDi’s ‘Touch It’ Remix Nominated

The highly anticipated nominees list for the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) has been released by Charterhouse Productions, and it’s no surprise that KiDi’s ‘Touch It’ remix has made the cut.

The reigning Artiste of the Year has been nominated in the Best Music Video category, where he will compete against seven other talented artists.

These include Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, who both had two songs nominated in the category, as well as Black Sherif, Piesie Esther, and MOG Music.

KiDi’s ‘Touch It’ remix was a massive hit in Ghana and across the African continent. The song was produced by Kayso and features Nigerian artiste Davido.

The music video, directed by Rex, was also well received and garnered millions of views on YouTube.

The video features a vibrant and colorful display of dance, fashion, and culture, showcasing the diversity of African music.

KiDi has had a phenomenal year, and this nomination is just one of many achievements for the talented artist.

In addition to winning Artiste of the Year at last year’s VGMAs, he has also been nominated for several international awards, including the BET Awards and MTV Africa Music Awards.

The 24th VGMAs will be held on Saturday, May 13, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

This year’s event promises to be a celebration of Ghanaian music and culture, and fans can expect a night filled with great performances, surprises, and of course, awards.

Charterhouse Productions, the organizers of the VGMAs, have assured fans that they will adhere to strict COVID-19 protocols during the event to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance.
