The announcement of the nominees for this year’s edition was made on Friday night, February 12, 2021, in a virtual show due to the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic hosted by Jay Foley and MzGee.
The Artiste Of The Year category in most award schemes happens to be the category that really matters a lot to fans of various artistes out there, as it determines who the best and hardworking artiste.
This year, 8 hardworking Ghanaian acts made the list, made up of two(2) female acts and six(6) male acts, and they are; Kuami Eugene, Adina, Stonebwoy, Diana Hamilton, Sarkodie, Medikal, Kidi and Fameye.
This year’s 3Music Artiste OF The year category took everyone by shock as one of the acts whose name was expected by the majority of people got missing from the list.
Dancehall king Shatta Wale’s name was nowhere to be found in the list, and this raised a lot of talks with fans asking lots of questions, could this really mean that the Ghanaian dancehall recording aritste did not work to expectations? See the list below.
