50 Cent continues to achieve huge artistic milestones despite having been in the music business for more than 20 years.

The 2003 hit single “In Da Club” by G-Unit boss broke the one billion stream mark on Spotify on Wednesday (December 14), becoming the first track to do so.

Even though the song will reach 20 years old next month, its influence on culture hasn’t decreased.

In July, the official music video on YouTube received more than 1.5 billion views, making it the most-watched rap video from the 2000s ever.

In addition to performing the well-known song during the Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show in February, 50 Cent brought back the G-Unit tank top and headband he had previously worn.

In 2021, when the song turned 18, 50 claimed that it was still receiving up to 1,000 spins per week on radio stations.

“Hey you ain’t gonna believe this one, but 18 years ago today I dropped a song I recorded in LA and it’s still spinning 1,000 times a week on radio, I tell @eminem I love him for what he did for me, he put me on.”
