600 Breezy Says Quavo Will Be Labeled A Snitch If He Testifies Against Takeoff’s Killer

The subject of informing on others has sparked much debate in the Hip Hop community. Some argue that even Quavo’s testimony in the case of his nephew, Takeoff, who was killed, goes against the street code, according to 600 Breezy.

In November 2022, a shooter took the life of Takeoff, who hailed from Georgia, in Houston. Recently, 600 Breezy, a recording artist from Chicago, discussed the aftermath of the incident during an appearance on VladTV. He shared his thoughts on the tragic passing of the Migos member and the potential consequences that could arise from it.

During an interview with DJ Vlad, the topic of potential cooperation with authorities in the pending murder case was brought up in relation to Quavo and Takeoff’s security. 600 Breezy expressed his agreement that the bodyguard should assist in the prosecution of the alleged murderers.

However, when it comes to Takeoff’s own uncle potentially helping the government convict defendants, the “Don’t Get Smoked” rapper does not believe he should receive a pass. 600 Breezy pushed back on the idea of Quavo testifying in court, arguing that it goes against the street code.

“I doubt one bit that Quavo would get on the stand and say anything that’ll make people say, ‘Oh, Quavo’s a snitch,’” said Breezy. “For the sake of his career and all that s###, his nephew’s gone. His nephew’s dead and gone. Nothing he can do to bring him back.”

The supposed affiliation with the Black Disciples gang didn’t stop 600 Breezy from sharing his thoughts on Quavo potentially testifying. “He wouldn’t do that to himself,” the rapper said, “If he took the stand and said anything about that situation, he would have the snitch label attached to him.”

In addition to Quavo, 600 Breezy also brought up T.I.’s testimony at a 2008 trial related to a fatal shootout in May 2006. The Chicago-bred rapper suggested that T.I. snitched by telling an Ohio jury about the incident to support his deceased friend Philant Johnson. T.I. is the founder of the Grand Hustle record label.

“Where we come from and how we live, it’s just the rules of how it’s set up,” stated Breezy. “You can’t be a snitch. You can’t be labeled as a snitch, you don’t want to be a snitch. It’s code. A lot of this s### is stupid, don’t get me wrong.”
