Terror-Free Concert: Wembley Stadium is taking extra precautions to safeguard the safety of Taylor Swift fans attending her London gigs next week.
The Grammy-winning pop artist is preparing for her shows in London and Wembly in a few days, beginning on August 15, but many are still concerned after Swift’s previously postponed Vienna shows last week due to terror threats.
Last week, many were left shocked and scared after a planned terror assault was discovered on the Austrian Eras Tour performances, in which a group planned to blow explosives within the arena and cause mass casualties outside.
So far, three youths have been detained in connection with the foiled scheme.
Swift has revealed that she will use private counterterrorism security troops to protect her audience at her future London gigs, as the continuing London riots place a significant burden on local police.
Sources told US-based showbiz site TMZ that, despite Wembley’s high-level security precautions and being one of the safest venues in Europe in terms of counterterrorism, there are still concerns.

According to Ben Knott, operations director at FGH Security in England, counterterrorism security services typically deploy plainclothes and uniformed individuals to seek for people who stand out.
For example, he stated that if someone was searching the area for cameras and police, it was a warning that something was wrong, and security would respond.
In most cases, he said, the tactic would be to inquire if they needed assistance with anything, but if security detects the slightest smell’ of anything suspicious, police will be sent quickly.
Meanwhile, Wembley Stadium is increasing its security procedures for the concerts, according to a hospitality staff member. Walk-through metal detectors are expected to be implemented as additional safeguards.
