Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are now officially single, nearly six weeks after they settled their divorce on January 6.
On February 21, the Los Angeles County Superior Court officially declared their marriage dissolved, confirming the couple’s legal separation.
The former couple, who rekindled their romance in 2021, tied the knot in a small Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022 before celebrating with a larger wedding in Georgia in August.
Unfortunately, their relationship hit a rough patch, and Lopez filed for divorce exactly two years after their Georgia nuptials, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
The filing also noted that the couple had separated on April 26, 2024.
Lopez, 55, filed the divorce paperwork without an attorney, requesting no spousal support for either party and proposing that attorney fees be split.

The singer and actress also requested the restoration of her former name, Jennifer Lynn Lopez, while leaving the division of assets and obligations to be determined later.
Legal documents indicate that the couple’s Beverly Hills mansion, which they listed for sale in July 2024, will be sold, with the proceeds to be shared between them. However, the specific amounts each will receive remain confidential.
Since the divorce was finalized in January, both Lopez and Affleck have remained focused on their careers. Lopez attended the Sundance Film Festival in January for the premiere of her new musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, which Affleck produced.
Meanwhile, Affleck starred in a recent Dunkin’ Donuts commercial and is gearing up for the release of The Accountant 2, set to premiere at the SXSW Film Festival on March 8 before hitting theaters on April 25.
Though their relationship may have ended, both stars continue to move forward in their respective careers and personal lives.
