Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has launched a ₦100 million defamation lawsuit against colleague actress Queeneth Hilbert.
The dispute escalated after Queeneth accused Destiny of engaging in what she described as “stealing boyfriends.” Queeneth’s allegations, shared in a series of videos, included claims that Destiny had taken her colleagues’ romantic partners, specifically mentioning an ex-partner from Benin who owned a Mercedes-Benz.
In a strong response, Destiny Etiko denied the accusations, labeling them as baseless and damaging to her reputation. Taking decisive legal action, she announced the defamation lawsuit via her Instagram page, where she also demanded a retraction from Queeneth.

The lawsuit, filed by Destiny’s legal representatives, calls for Queeneth Hilbert to cease making defamatory statements and publicly withdraw her claims within 48 hours.
A statement shared by Destiny’s legal team reads:
“Our client is an actress, a public figure, and a well-known social media personality with a large following in the media space. Our client’s attention was drawn to your official Instagram publication on Queeneth Hilbert, dated the 6th day of March, 2025. Wherein, you mentioned our client and alleged that our client, a reputable figure, always has the propensity of manipulating and engaging with individuals within your knowledge for the purpose of obtaining material benefits.”
