Accra, Ghana – March 2025 – Ghanaian singer-songwriter and ethnomusicologist Rama Blak has unveiled her latest musical masterpiece, EP Asaase Nnwom (Earth Song). A stunning fusion of Highlife, palm-wine rhythms, and traditional Ghanaian storytelling, the project reflects her deep connection to Indigenous African sounds. Collaborating with Robo Da Beat Scientist, Nii MuseSick, and OpokuBrew, Rama Blak delivers a refreshing sonic experience that honors both cultural heritage and environmental consciousness.

Rooted in themes of nature, preservation, and identity, Asaase Nnwom seamlessly blends influences from Kwaw and Dagomba rhythms, complemented by Rama Blak’s soul-stirring vocals and poetic lyricism. One of the highlights of the EP is her interpretation of “Kwame Nkrumah”, originally performed by Ghanaian rap icon Obrafour, which she reimagines with a unique artistic depth.

The EP is distributed by Apprise Music, Ghana’s top digital music distribution platform, and is available on all major streaming services. Apprise Music’s label services team is also leading radio, television, and digital marketing campaigns to maximize the EP’s reach.
