Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has announced the restoration of her relationship with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, describing the reconciliation as a faith-driven breakthrough after a decade of public conflict.

In an emotional Instagram post, Dikeh reflected on what she called ten years of strained relations marked by broken communication, bitterness, and personal pain. She credited divine intervention for healing the rift and restoring mutual respect between herself and the father of her child.

“We are living proof that the Word of God is eternal and unfailing,” she wrote.

The actress, who has openly spoken about her Christian faith, framed the reconciliation as the result of humility, obedience, and sustained prayer rather than personal effort or circumstance. According to her, what once appeared irreparable was transformed through spiritual growth and surrender.

“After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in. What looked ugly, impossible, and beyond repair has been touched by mercy. Peace has replaced chaos. Respect has returned where anger once lived. What human effort could not fix, God healed by salvation, humility, and the sincere prayers of a child.”

Dikeh emphasized that the renewed relationship is centered on the well-being of their child, noting that reconciliation allowed love and cooperation to return where conflict once dominated.

“I am deeply grateful to the father of my child Dr Kunle for yielding to God’s word and choosing peace. Obedience to God always births restoration, even when the road has been long and painful.”

Beyond sharing her personal story, the actress also used the moment to encourage others facing prolonged personal or family disputes not to lose hope.

“To anyone standing where I once stood, tired, wounded, misunderstood, and believing nothing good can come out of the situation, please hear this: God has not abandoned you. Your story is not over. What He has started, He will surely perfect.”

She concluded by describing the reconciliation as a powerful testimony of faith, calling it a miracle years in the making and expressing gratitude to her spiritual mentor.

“THIS MIRACLE IS CALLED 10YEARS IN ONE DAY. EL-ROIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII. To my spiritual father, Papa, thank you for grooming a God-fearing, impact-making woman out of a Total Mess”.
