Tehran Billboard Puts President Trump in Coffin as U.S.-Iran Conflict Escalates

TEHRAN, Iran — A giant corner billboard depicting U.S. President Donald Trump lying dead in a black coffin has been unveiled in central Tehran’s Enghelab Square.

The public display features the English and Persian phrase “We Kill Trump” scrawled across the imagery. The provocative installation marks a sharp rise in aggressive propaganda during the current U.S.-Israeli military conflict with Iran.

The billboard shows the American president with his eyes and mouth closed, disheveled hair, and hands resting on a red tie. A nearby public statue displays the clenched fist of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khamenei was assassinated earlier this year, an event that triggered the current regional war. Iranian hardliners have repeatedly used state funerals and public banners to call for the deaths of Trump and other foreign leaders.

The threat on the billboard reflects a long-running campaign by Tehran to target American officials. Intelligence agencies have tracked multi-million dollar murder-for-hire plots aimed at Trump and former members of his cabinet. Former National Security Adviser John Bolton and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo both required heavy government security due to credible assassination risks.

Iranian authorities initially vowed revenge following the 2020 U.S. drone strike that killed top General Qassem Soleimani. The Department of Justice later charged several operatives tied to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for planning these targeted killings.

The propaganda push follows severe military pushback from Washington. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that a targeted American airstrike successfully killed the leader of the Iranian unit responsible for the Trump assassination plots. Hegseth stated at a Pentagon briefing that “Iran tried to kill President Trump, and President Trump got the last laugh”.

The current war has extended far beyond political rhetoric. U.S. and Israeli forces continue active strikes across Iran following months of cyber warfare, school bombings, and maritime clashes in the Strait of Hormuz. The billboard’s text also references regional retaliatory messages, demonstrating that both sides remain locked in a heavy military standoff.
