Nigerian singer and record producer, David Adedeji Adeleke aka Davido has declared his intentions to get his “e choke’ term copyrighted.
The “e choke” term by the Nigerian multiple award-winning singer, Davido has crossed borders and now becoming a bigger term worldwide following the facts that other International stars like Canadian rapper Drake, Nicki Minaj, Brizzy, among others use the term.
The term is a slang that can be used to express one’s feelings about things, for instance, it can be used to react to any situation which has to do with; win, love, joy, betrayal, death, invention, and lots.
The “Jowo” decided to get the slang copyrighted because he feels it is a popular term now and the usage is getting out of hand, so he took to his official and verified Twitter page to share with the world his intentions of getting his stamp permanently printed to it as the creator.
He wrote;
