Another sad news hits Ghana, especially the Entertainment, Movie Industry as one of its legends, Kohwe has been confirmed dead.

The news of his death was confirmed to ghanaweekend.com by his daughter, Comfort Laing.

According to Comfort, her father passed away at his Accra residence on Thursday evening, September 16, 2021.

Kohwe is known for his amazing roles in the Akan Drama series and the popular ‘District Colonial Court’, as well as ‘Kaneshie Odorkor’.

News regarding his health issue popped up weeks ago after photos of him hit social media and he in the photographs wasn’t looking good. He looked feeble, ailing, and was in a medical facility for help.

It could be recalled that the actor back in 2019, speaking on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness, called for help from Ghanaians asking them not to wait for him to die.

“Don’t wait for me to die, before you pay glowing tribute to me for my wonderful contribution, your tribute will be meaningless because it will not bring me back to life,” he said.

Kowh3 recounted in an interview that many of his colleagues had died out of poverty because they’re neglected in old age. He revealed that their time in acting was not as profitable as today, and the sad part is producers neglect them and use young people to play roles that they could play better.

RIP, Townflex.com in these trying times, extend our condolences to the family and friends of the actor.
