Jesus Ahuofe, Pastor Who Prophesied Shatta Wale’s death Granted Ghc 100,000 Bail

Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah popularly known as Jesus Ahuofe, of the New Life Kingdom Chapel has been granted a GHc100, 000 bail.

Jesus Ahuofe happens to the the pastor who allegedly prophesied the death of Dancehall recording artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah (Shatta Wale).

He was arrested by Ghana Police over his prophecy that dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, would be shot on October 18, 2021. According to law the act was causing fear and panic which according to the constitution, is an offense punishable by law.

After pleading not guilty to the charges of Causing fear and panic at the Accra Circuit Court, he was denied bail and was Remanded into police custody.

Jesus Ahuofe Granted Bail

The Bishop has finally been granted a GHc100, 000 bail on Monday 25th, 2021, after spending four days in cells.

As part of his bail conditions, he is to produce three sureties who are gainfully employed and to report to police Mondays and Thursdays.

The case has been adjourned to October 29.
