Ghanaian reggae/dancehall recording artiste Stonebwoy has been crowned as the winner of the ‘Best Artist, Duo or Group in African Reggae, Ragga & Dancehall’ category in the just ended Afrima 2021 Awards.

The awards event was established by the International Committee AFRIMA, in collaboration with the African Union to reward and celebrate musical works, talents, and creativity around the African continent while promoting the African cultural heritage.
The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA Awards 2021) was held in Nigeria, Lagos an event that started from November 19 and ended on Sunday, November 21.
Ghana’s Stonebwoy managed to be victorious after a strong fight with his colleague musicians from other parts of Africa in the category.
This win happens to be Stonebwoy’s fourth time winning in the ‘Best Artist, Duo or Group in African Reggae, Ragga & Dancehall’ category and three times in a role.
Stonebwoy beat the likes of; A2 Di Fulani (Gambia), Bebe Cool (Uganda), EXQ ft. Tock Vibes (Zimbabwe), Mykey Shewa (Ethiopia), Natty O (Zimbabwe), Patoranking (Nigeria), Rosa Ree (Tanzania), and Ruger(Nigeria) to become the winner.
