AS Roma Signs Mady Camara from Olympiacos

Roma Signs Mady Camara: 25-year-old Guinean professional footballer, Mohamed Mady Camara has joined the Italian club, As Roma.

Mady joins José Mourinho’s side on a €1.2m loan from Olympiacos for a 1-year contract.

The deal comes with an option to buy for €12m plus add-ons for José Mourinho’s side.

Mady arrived in the Capital of Italy on Tuesday but was officially unveiled by the club earlier on Wednesday as their newest midfielder.

Camara will wear the number 20 shirt for Roma

Upon joining his new club, Mady Camara said; “I am really pleased to be here. Joining Roma is a big opportunity for me,” he said more in the below statement.

“It is going to be a busy season, in both the league and the cups, but I am here to make my contribution and help the side in every competition that we play in.

“It was magnificent to experience the Olimpico atmosphere and see all the fans; I cannot wait to play in front of them.”

The general manager for As Roma, Pintoafter the signing assured Roma fans that Camara fits the bill:

“Camara has a number of characteristics, both technical and physical, that we have been looking for,”

“I am certain that he will take on this new challenge with the same character that he has demonstrated throughout his career and that he will do everything he can to establish himself at this club.” he said.
