Black Sherif crowned ‘Youth Chief’ in Tamale (WATCH)

Traditional authorities in Ghana’s Northern region have named Black Sherif, an award-winning Ghanaian rap artist, as the new ‘Nachin Naa’ in Tamale.

The prolific hitmaker, who has been honored by Tamala’s chiefs and people, will now be known as ‘Nachin Naa,’ which translates to ‘Youth Chief.’

The coronation ceremony took place on Monday, October 10, 2022, in the Dakapema Palace in Tamale, in the presence of various chiefs and town residents.

The album officially released on Thursday, October 6, 2022, as has been breaking records already as it keeps topping charts both local and foreign hours after its release, the album also made it to Billboard Afrobeats Chart.

Black Sherif Crowned Youth Chief

Fans shared their pleasure for the 20-year-old rapper after video of his coronation surfaced on the internet.

In the video, the rapper, who is presently touring the Northen region to promote his 14-track The Villain I Never Was Album, can be seen with all smiles on his face as he was been dressed up.
