Multiple award-winning Ghanaian singer and record producer, Kuami Eugene has joined Empire Records.
This comes a few days after he shared posts on social media fueling rumours suggesting that he is leaving his mother label, Lynx Entertainment.
EMPIRE Distribution, Records and Publishing Inc is an American distribution company and record label founded by Ghazi Shami with offices in New York City, London, Nashville, and Atlanta.
The news of Kuami joining the distribution company was known to the public by himself as he took to Twitter and shared a post saying Empire is his new family.
“My New Family @EMPIRE @EMPIREAfrica 🤝🏾” Kuami Eugene wrote.

With that being said, Kuami joining Empire/Empire Africa does not really mean he is or will have to leave Lynx Entertainment.
Kuami Eugene joins his label mate, KiDi who is also signed to Empire and MadeinENY but still under Lynx Entertainment.
Other artistes who have been signed by EMPIRE/Empire Africa includes Black Sherif, Fireboy DML, Kizz Daniel, Olamide, XXXTentacion, T-Pain, Kendrick Lamar, and Cardi B. as well as many other acts
Lynx Entertainment is yet to officially release a press statement acknowledging Kuami’s signing, we at Townflex promise to update this post once we have more information regarding the newly signed deal between Kuami Eugene and Empire.
