Jonathan Majors Accused of Abuse by Two Ex-Girlfriends: Following Jonathan Majors’ conviction in December for misdemeanor assault and harassment in a domestic violence case involving his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, new allegations of abuse have surfaced from multiple women.
A recent report from the New York Times presents detailed accounts from two women who claimed to have dated the Marvel actor: Emma Duncan, who alleged physical and emotional abuse, and Maura Hooper, who alleged emotional abuse.
In response, Priya Chaudhry, a lawyer for Majors, acknowledged the relationships with both women as “toxic” and admitted that Majors “did say hurtful things,” but denied many of the claims of physical abuse.
Chaudhry described the relationships as beginning with mutual intensity, indicating that Hooper and Majors dated from 2013 to 2015, while his relationship with Duncan lasted from 2015 to 2019.
The former relationship reportedly included an incident where Hooper became pregnant, and Majors dropped her at an abortion clinic but then failed to escort her home afterward.
Regarding Duncan, Majors’ lawyer denied an alleged incident where he threw her across a room, acknowledging only that “many serious arguments” occurred.
Earlier this week, Majors’ sentencing hearing in the Jabbari case was postponed to April 8. Majors, who pleaded not guilty, faces a potential one-year prison sentence.
The Times article also includes interviews with collaborators of Majors on his HBO drama Lovecraft Country, suggesting that while he was amicable with male colleagues, he could be confrontational with women on set.

Chaudhry maintained that Majors is a method actor known for his professionalism, despite allegations of intimidating female crew members.
