Abena Korkor, who attended the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night at Grand Arena to show her support for Sarkodie in the Artist of the Year and other categories, told Ghanaweb that Sarkodie is one of the best rappers Ghana has ever had and deserves some recognition.

“No,” she said when asked if Sarkodie’s liveliness in the music industry has faded.

“They say ‘the wine tastes better with age. He’s refined wine, refined cigar, he’s just getting better and tasting better so what are you guys talking about”? the outspoken media personality asserted.

Sarkodie, on the other hand, won the Best Hip-hop/Hip-Pop Artist of the Year award but lost out to Kidi for Artist of the Year.
