Two persons have been confirmed dead after an electric tricycle well-referred to as Aboboya crashed into a trailer.
The accident happened on Monday morning, January 24th, 2022 at Offinso Old Town on the Kumasi-Techiman highway.
Offinso Divisional Officer of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department Chief Inspector Awudi, according to a post by 3news, confirmed the incident to Akoma FM‘s Kwame Yeboah in an exclusive interview.

According to Awudi, the accident happened at around 9:00am few meters away from river Offin, and the two died because their situation was a very critical one as at the time they were rushed to the hospital
“Two are feared dead because their situation was critical as at the time they were rushed to the hospital but one person is injured critically.”
Chief Inspector Awudi further advised road users to be careful to reduce the avoidable road carnage.
