Actor Will Smith has swiftly addressed online rumors linking him to the legal issues surrounding music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
During a performance at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, Smith made it clear to fans that he has nothing to do with Diddy’s ongoing legal battles.
In a clip from the show, Smith directly confronted the online memes, saying, “I don’t have s*** to do with Puffy, so y’all can stop all the memes.”

He acknowledged the digital age’s challenges in separating truth from fiction, revealing that the rumors have been causing unnecessary confusion.
Smith also took a lighthearted approach to dismiss the allegations, joking about the situation. He remarked that he’s never attended any of Diddy’s notorious “Freak-Off” parties and doesn’t even like baby oil—referencing reports that federal authorities found numerous bottles of the substance at Diddy’s residences.
The actor explained that while he and Diddy know each other and have shared moments at public events, their interactions are strictly professional.
“Obviously, Diddy and I know each other,” Smith said, referring to pictures of them together at various events. “But that’s the extent—I wasn’t down to get down at any of Diddy’s alleged parties.”

Currently, Diddy remains in custody at MDC Brooklyn, a high-security prison in New York, following the denial of his latest bail motion.
The rap mogul is facing serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. His trial is set to begin in May.
Smith concluded his comments by making it clear that he’s staying out of Diddy’s legal affairs. “Diddy’s dealing with a ton of legal drama, but that’s his business—I’m not involved in it,” Smith stated, setting the record straight once and for all.
