In a bid to nurture Australia’s sporting talents while fostering academic excellence, Bond University has launched the ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarships for the January 2024 semester.
These scholarships aim to support high-achieving athletes in pursuing their educational aspirations alongside their sporting careers.

The ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarships celebrate athletes who excel both on and off the field and as a recipient, you’ll receive:

- Full Tuition Remission: Covers 100% of tuition fees for any single undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
- Living Allowance: Undergraduate applicants will receive an annual allowance of AUD 10,000, prorated for part-time students, up to a maximum of AUD 20,000. This allowance can be used for accommodation, food, sporting equipment, participation in sporting events and training, Student Services and Amenities Fees, and textbooks.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a domestic student applying for a single undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
- Demonstrate outstanding and current involvement in a chosen sport, with a preference for Olympic sports.
- Show strong leadership capabilities.
- Meet the prerequisites and admissions requirements for the chosen degree program.
Application and Responsibilities
Applications for the ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarships are now open and close date and time is at 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2024. As an ADCO Sports Excellence Scholar, you’ll be expected to:
- Represent Bond University in your chosen sport at events such as UniSport Nationals and the World University Games.
- Attend Bond University’s annual Blues Awards.
- Update the University with your sporting achievements and allow Bond University to promote these achievements.
- Promote ADCO and Bond University during your sporting activities or media opportunities.
- Keep ADCO and the University informed of your academic and sporting progress each semester.
- Apply to become a member of Bond’s Elite Sport Program (BESP) and meet with the BESP Manager each semester.
