According to Sky Sports, Manchester United and Adrien Rabiot of Juventus have “reached a contract.”

Erik ten Hag has so far received only three signings from Manchester United in order to bolster his new team before the season begins.

The team drags its feet in the transfer market before settling on their third and fourth choices.

Though that transfer doesn’t seem likely, Frenkie de Jong is the guy that Ten Hag really wants.

Former PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot came to light for Man United yesterday, it appears like the deal is moving along very rapidly.

The central midfielder, who is 27 years old, may occasionally play as a holding midfielder.

According to all reports, the France international, whose current deal with Juventus expires next summer, will cost roughly £15 million.

The midfielder, who has played in more than 30 Serie A games in each of the last two seasons and has scored 31 goals in his career, appears to be on the verge of joining Manchester United.

Reports claim that Manchester United and Juventus have reached a signing agreement for Adrien Rabiot, however the personal terms are still being worked out.

The journalist Julien Laurens also stated on Twitter that Rabiot is “bent on joining” Manchester United and that talks with his agent—who also happens to be his mother—have already begun.

Rabiot, who has consistently fallen short of expectations, is thought to be eager to move to Old Trafford.

Although his brilliance and natural ability cannot be disputed, some supporters believe that the signing of Rabiot was a desperate move following their defeat.

Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Brighton at home for United marked Erik ten Hag’s managerial debut in the worst way possible. Owner Avram Glazer made a rare appearance at Old Trafford to watch the game live.

Old Trafford officials appear to be in a panic buy mode as they struggle to complete a deal for priority target Frenkie de Jong.

United struggled throughout, and it appears that midfield reinforcements are needed.

One can only hope that the Frenchman will turn out to be a wise acquisition who considerably expands Ten Hag’s choices in the middle of the park, but only time will tell.
