Chairman Wontumi’s Court Case: Afia Schwarzenegger Sentenced To 10 Days In Prison

According to reports circulating on the internet, Afia Schwarzenegger, a controversial Ghanaian media personality, has been sentenced to ten (10) days in prison by a court.

Afia’s jail sentence follows her defamatory statement about Chairman Wontumi.

As originally announced on Nana Ama Mcbrown’s United Showbiz show on UTV, Queen Afia Schwar claimed to have had an affair with the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party.

Well, this became a big issue that Chairman Wontumi denied knowledge of when interviewed for his version of Afia’s claims, which forced him to sue the media personality.

Aside Afia, Chairman Wontumi had no choice but to sue the show’s host, Nana Ama Mcbrown, as well as her studio guests, including Kwame A-Plus and Mr Logic.

The Tema Hight Court ‘B’ found Afia Schwar guilty in its verdict on Thursday, December 1, 2022, and sentenced her to 10 to days in jail.

According to reports, a bench arrest warrant has been issued for Afia Schwarzenegger and Mr Logic for contempt of court. And are to pay a fine of GHc60,000 each.

The other respondents, Kwame A-Plus, Ama McBrown, Fadda Dickson and the Management of the United Showbiz program GHC 60, 000 each for contempt or spend a month in prison should they fail to make payment for the fine.
