Afia Schwarzenegger Declares Her Support For Mahama’s Running Mate Prof Jane Nana Opoku-Agyeman

Controversial Ghanaian comedian, Radio / TV personality, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, well known as Afia Schwarzenegger has declared her support for NDC’s 2020 running mate, Professor Jane Nana Opoku-Agyeman.

Afia made this known in a recent interview, speaking on “Upside Down”, a lifestyle variety show on Citi TV hosted by Ato Kwamina and Frema Adunyame.

She was answered to the question asked, by saying “No she is not a pilitician”. why because according to her, she is too impatient to do politics, adding why she won’t want to do it is because some people even after building up themselves to be fit financially decide to go into politics and later on be criticized, called thieves by people who use chineese phones.

She also stated that she will accept a political appiontment which comes her way because it is just like being a caretaker but she her late uncle left her an advice which is to fear deligates.

Speaking about her women empowerment philosophy, Afia Schwarzenegger said she is ever ready to throw her support behind any woman who is capable of doing the job.

The outspoken actress therefore declared her support for Professor Jane Nana Opoku-Agyeman who happens to be the running mate of John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress for the upcoming 2020 general Elections in December.

Afia is also calling on all women empowerment groups, feminists, and everyy person who thinks that women’s place is not only to be in the kitchen, saying it is time for all to come out and prove it.

“For once we have a serious woman; not Akua Donkor.

We have a serious reputable woman who wants to stir the affairs and I feel women can be entrusted with things better than men so it’s about time.

If Bawumia is replaced with a woman, we will gladly throw our support behind her,” she stated.
