In a recent video, Afia Schwarzenegger, a well-known actress and radio personality, has made a provocative statement, urging the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, to approve the legalization of LGBTQ in Ghana, disregarding the opinions and sentiments of the citizens.

She boldly claimed that even Parliament would not be able to oppose such a decision.

She highlighted that Parliament had previously approved the E-levy despite the overwhelming complaints from the populace, and therefore, they would most likely approve the legalization of LGBTQ as well, as money was a significant factor for their decision-making.

Afia Schwarzenegger explicitly suggested that financial incentives were at the heart of the issue, as Parliamentarians would require money for their campaigns and that approving LGBTQ could be a potential source of funding for them.

She contended that since there was a significant financial aspect involved in passing or approving LGBTQ, it was possible that such a decision would be made despite the negative reactions from the public.

Her remarks, however, have generated considerable backlash, with many people expressing disappointment and condemnation towards her statements.
