Recall that during Afua Aduonum’s Sing-A-Thon attempt, a Nigerian lady simply named Jasmine Sing went live on TikTok to fume at her.
The attractive TikToker, who appeared visibly irate, verbally attacked Afua Aduonum in the viral video and accused her of being jealous.
She said that people who support Afua Asantewaa Aduonum can fast and pray, but she won’t be recognised as the new record holder for the longest singing marathon, even though she did not specifically mention her name.

She emphasized that she took the initiative to apply to the Guinness World Records for permission to attempt the longest singing marathon before Afua did.
Therefore, any attempt by someone else to take on the same challenge is perceived as an act driven by greed and jealousy.
In response to Jazmine’s criticism, Afua Aduonum addressed the issue during an exclusive interview on UTV’s United Showbiz program.
Afua disclosed that she wasn’t aware of anyone challenging her during the singathon session. Furthermore, she expressed her lack of familiarity with Jazmine, rendering the attacks irrelevant.
