Afua Aduonum: Ghanaian lady set to embark on Guinness World Record for Singathon

Afua Aduonum, a Ghanaian woman, has taken a risk and is about to make history when the Guinness World Record accepted her application for the Longest Singathon.

She revealed that Guinness World Records had accepted her application for the Longest Singathon in a video posted on Ghpage TV on Instagram.

Sunil Waghmare currently holds the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon, and Afua will be taking on her challenge at the time and date listed below;

A Singathon is an abbreviation form of a Singing Marathon.

In the video sighted, Afua shared the email that was directly sent to her by Guinness World Record and noted that she was excited that the application has finally been accepted.

Only music from Ghana is included in the Singathon. I informed them that my sole goal in doing this is to promote Ghanaian music,” the woman remarked.
