The Ghanaian event organizer Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, who was unsuccessful in breaking the Guinness record for the longest singing marathon, has declared that she will start a “Thank You” tour on August 24, 2024.

Afua tweeted that the purpose of the trip is to give back to the nations that helped her with her goal to set a new Guinness World Record (GWR). She also mentioned that the tour will start in Toronto, Canada.

Asantewaa also encouraged both Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians to sign up for the journey, which is being sponsored by the travel company Airmart and is scheduled to conclude on September 3, 2024.
