The founder of the Ajagurajah Movement, Prophet Kwabena Boakye Asiamah, also referred to as Prophet Ajagurajah, has shared his story of how he developed into a spiritual leader.
Prophet Ajagurajah recalled the event and thought back to his early years managing his father’s church in Pankrono, Kumasi.
He claims that something happened during this time that changed the trajectory of his life forever. He recounted how a sick person was brought into the church, and he embraced the ill person at the urging of what he characterised as the spirit.

He said that the sick individual recovered miraculously after the embrace, which led to rumours in the neighbourhood about his newly discovered spiritual strength.
“When I was sixteen, my father brought me to Pankrono in Kumasi from his church, and they had a sick person with them.
In an interview with 3FM on May 10, 2024, Prophet Ajagurajah said, “Something just told me, to hug the individual, and when I hugged the guy, the ailment went away.” He went on, “They told my father that something was going on in the church and that they believed I had gained power.
“I told my dad what I saw when I got on the phone, and he advised me to be careful not to do this and that.” He emphasised that no one can learn spiritism unless they inherit it or are born with it, and that he was born with his spirit.
