It is finally confirmed and made official as the first teaser for the remake version of the Nollywood classic, “Aki and PawPaw” have been released by the production companies.
Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki) and Osita Iheme (Pawpaw) stole our hearts 19 years ago back in 2002, with the classic family comedy film “Aki & PawPaw”, and now, they’re making a comeback, this time on the big screens.
Production companies FilmOne Entertainment and Play Network Studios working together to bring us something more thrilling than the previous version, they have announced that the movie will officially be out as they shared the official flyer of the film on their social media pages.
Well, with that being said they have also scheduled 17th December as the release date for the movie to hit the cinemas. They have also released the first teaser which is already making rounds on social media and fans just can’t wait to have a full view of the full movie.
Aki And Pawpaw Remake is directed by Biodun Stephen, written by Steph Boyo and Ozoioma Ogbaji, and produced by Chris Odeh, Mimi Bartels, Agozie Agwu.
Aki and Pawpaw Remake stars; Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki) and Osita Iheme (Pawpaw), it also stars Toyin Abraham, Funny Bone, Lasisi Elenu, Beverly Osu, Amaechi Muonagor (who reprises his role as the twin’s father), Juliet Ibrahim, Uti, Real Warri Pikin, Hanks Anuku, Charles Inojie and more.
