According to reports, AL-NASSR aims to confirm Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing on January 1 before bringing Sergio Ramos to reunite with his former teammate.

The legendary player, 37, is considering his options after being let go by Manchester United as a result of a shocking interview with Sun columnist Piers Morgan.

Before leaving for the World Cup, the attacker said he believed United had “betrayed” him and said he had “no regard” for Erik ten Hag.

Sergio Ramos, a former Real Madrid teammate of Ronaldo, appears to be their target now that they appear to have all but secured Ronaldo, who is due for medicals.

Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia are reportedly close to signing Ronaldo to a record-breaking £173 million contract.

MARCA, however, asserts that they also have a number of other well-known individuals in their sights.

N’Golo Kante of Chelsea has been suggested as a potential target.

They claim that the president and sporting director of Al-Nassr are preparing to travel to Madrid in order to negotiate a transfer for the 36-year-old defender, who is presently playing for Paris Saint-Germain.

Since moving to Parc des Princes from the Bernabeu in 2021, the Spaniard has had a tough time with injuries.

His contract expires in France at the end of the current campaign, and the Ligue 1 club may decide to get rid of him as soon as the transfer window reopens early next month.

Ramos and Ronaldo were extremely successful when they teamed up in Madrid in 2009 to 2018.
