In a candid interview, legendary actor Al Pacino, now 84, shares his thoughts on becoming a father for the fourth time and his journey through Hollywood in his new autobiography, Sonny Boy.
Despite his storied career, which includes iconic roles in films like The Godfather and Scarface, Pacino finds joy in parenting his 16-month-old son, Roman, and reflects on the lessons he wishes to pass down.
Sitting in a Beverly Hills hotel suite, Pacino muses about his unique position in life. “I want to be around for this child,” he states, acknowledging his hopes to stay healthy for Roman’s sake.
Although no longer with Roman’s mother, Noor Alfallah, the two are committed to co-parenting, with Pacino enjoying playful video chats with his son.

“I was literally almost made an offer I could not refuse,” he laughs, recalling the studio’s initial doubts about his performance.
That crucial scene, where Michael Corleone confronts a mob boss, transformed his career.
Pacino holds a special affection for Scarface, reflecting on its evolution from box office disappointment to cult classic, thanks in part to its embrace by the hip-hop community.
