Popular Ghanian comedian, Daniel Selassie, popularly known as Khemikal has finally let the cats out of the bag.
The comedian said that the reason for his going into hiding is because all his life savings got locked in investments he had made with Menzgold.
According to Khemical, it had such an impact on him that he was demoralized and was about to give up.

And as a result, he went into hiding and halted also his aspirations.
He said during an interview that:
“It was because of the MenzGold situation that I went into hiding. I experienced a financial setback and had to take a break…”
He iterated that:
“I was attempting to strike a balance. Because software engineering was pushing me in one direction and comedy was attempting to draw my attention in another.”
The comedian later opened up saying that it was his wife that encouraged and motivated him to keep on going.
And that she was the one who pushed him hard and made him return to comedy.
“But God being so kind, I married and she was able to assist me in finding that balance.
I was on the verge of giving up until she encouraged me to continue”, he added.
