National Democratic Institute (NDI) has unveiled popular Nollywood actress, Ini Edo as their ambassador for women empowerment in Nigeria.
The National Democratic Institute (NDI), or National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that works with partners in developing countries to increase the effectiveness of democratic institutions.
With their head office in Headquarters in Washington, DC, US. The NDI’s core program areas include citizen participation, elections, debates, democratic governance, democracy and technology, political inclusion of marginalized groups, and gender, women and democracy, peace and security, political parties, and youth political participation.
The actress who expressed how exited she was to be appointed for the roletook to her Instagram page on Friday, September 5, 2020, where she made the ambassadorail deal known to the public.
