In a stunning display of brilliance, Brazilian maestro Vinicius Jr delivered a remarkable hat-trick, propelling Real Madrid to a 5-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The German side, overflowing with purpose, carved out a 2-0 lead by halftime, apparently near the very edge of revenge for last season’s last misfortune. Yet, their ambitions crumbled at the Santiago Bernabeu as Vinicius Jr’s masterclass unfolded in the second half, leaving the Spanish giants victorious again.
This encounter was a repeat of last year’s finale, where Real Madrid claimed a 2-0 victory, thanks to strikes from Dani Carvajal and none other than Vinicius Jr.
