Manchester United’s latest acquisition Antony recently proved to many United supporters and lovers all across the world that he is worth it by scoring his debut goal in the just-ended premier league game with Arsenal.

Today’s game against Arsenal at Old Trafford marks Antony’s first ever appearance after joining the United club just three days ago.

And only three days after joining the squad, Manager Erik ten Hag opted to start him against Arsenal, a choice that many would not be able to make, but Hag did, and he has no cause to regret it.

Antony Scores First Goal: He grasped his chance in the 35th minute, latching on to a Marcus Rashford pass and curling the ball past Aaron Ramsdale to open the score.

The Brazilian is the first Red to score on his debut since Donny van de Beek, who was also recruited from Ajax, did so against Crystal Palace on September 19, 2020, at Old Trafford.

Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1, and Antony was the first to register his name on the sheet of scorers for the game which happened at the 35th minutes, followed by Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka at the 60th minutes and lated ended by Manchester’s Marcus Rashford who scored double at the 66th, and 70th minutes making the scoreline stop at 3-1.
