Apple revealed the M1 Pro and M1 Max CPUs for the Mac series on Monday. The CPU in the M1 Pro and M1 Max is up to 70% quicker than the CPU in the M1. According to the business, the GPU in M1 Pro is up to two times quicker than M1, while M1 Max is up to four times faster than M1.

The M1 Pro supports up to 32 GB of unified memory and has a memory bandwidth of up to 200 GB/s. The M1 Max supports up to 64 GB of unified memory and has a memory bandwidth of up to 400 GB/s.

M1 Pro and M1 Max also have improved media engines with dedicated ProRes accelerators, which are designed exclusively for professional video editing. According to Apple, the M1 Pro and M1 Max are the most powerful CPUs the company has ever created.
