Students with outstanding academic records who are enrolled in their first year of undergraduate study or a postgraduate degree program are eligible to apply for this prize. Those studying both bachelor’s and master’s degrees are eligible for 10 NZ$10,000 scholarships, and those seeking exclusively master’s degrees are eligible for nine NZ$5,000 fellowships.

Furthermore, 110 PhD students obtain yearly grants totalling $27,500 in tuition and stipends each year. After the candidate is accepted to the university, the grant is available for tuition.

Financial Benefits:

The Victoria University Wellington Scholarships 2023 for International Students will offer NZ$10,000 to undergraduate and graduate students studying undergraduate or master’s degrees. These are the ten rewards. Only master’s degree candidates will be eligible for one of nine NZ$5,000 awards. The scholarship is valid for one year. There will be 110 awards awarded to PhD candidates, each with a stipend of $27,500 plus tuition.

Applicants from any nationality who is paying full fee
must be a first-year undergraduate student or beginning a postgraduate degree program..

Ineligibility Criteria:

applicant who obtained his or her secondary education at a New Zealand institution
Done any prerequisite course at Victoria University of Wellington (i.e. Foundation Studies Program or English Proficiency Program)
Have a Study Abroad or student of any partner universities
