Arsenal and Manchester United battle for Ruben Neves signature this summer

Ruben Neves has been on the radar of Arsenal and Manchester United. The Wolverhampton Wanderers player is likely to exit the club this summer to another club in England.

According to the ‘Express, Mikel Arteta is keen on signing Ruben Neves. The Manager has asked the club to make all effort financially to secure the signature of the Portuguese midfielder.

Reports says the Gunners are more interested in securing the signature of Ruben Neves this recent weeks. Mikel Arteta have made him their number one candidate to replace Granit Xhaka when the Swiss midfielder joins AS Roma.

However, the Italian giants AS Roma haven’t reached an agreement with the Gunners for the signature of Granit Xhaka so far but the player appears keen to join Jose Mourinho’s side in Rome.

According to TalkSPORT, the Gunners have held talks with Ruben Neves agent, however, they are no longer leading the race for his signature but Manchester United has become the favourites to sign him following their recent interest.

The report says Manchester United is keen on signing the 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder who played four seasons at Wolverhampton Wanderers as a perfect replacement for Paul Pogba who could leave United this season.

Report says United will rather sell Paul Pogba now than to lose him on a free transfer next summer, its believed Pogba is not happy at United and will want to exit this summer.

Manchester United are waiting for the right offers to offload the Frenchman to PSG as His agent is in talks with the French club over securing his signature.

Arsenal fans will love to see Ruben Neves at Emirate next season as the team plans to boost their midfield this summer whiles United also keen on Strengthening their squad to compete for Major trophies next season.
