Arsenal bid £29m to sign Serie A and Italy Star

The Gunners has been linked with several players this summer, the likes of Ruben Neves of Wolves, James Maddison of Leicester City, Sam Johnstone of West Brom, Aaron Ramsdale of Sheffield United.

Arsenal are set to turn their attentions to sign Torino forward Andrea Belotti, according to a report in Italy.

Manager Mikel Arteta major target this summer is the striking role, the Gunners are keen on signing Italian international Andrea Belotti to strengthen their attacking role.

The Gunners are ready to cash in on the 27 year-old star who has one year left on his contract with Torino setting their asking price at €34 million (£29m).

The likes of Jose Mourinho’s Roma, Fiorentina, Napoli and AC Milan are also said to be interested in landing the Italian star striker.

Arsenal were keen on bringing the Star striker to North London four years ago which saw the Gunners bid £56 million rejected by Torino for Andrea Belotti.

An Interview with the club’s former sporting director Gianluca Petrachi when asked why Torino rejected Arsenal bid four years ago:

Arsenal are set and ready to bring Andrea Belotti to London before the start of 2021-2022 season.

Arsenal are prepared to sell or released some of the first team players in other to raise funds for more quality players to North London.

David Luis has been released by the club and is now without a club, Matteo Guendouzi is on loan at Marseille. The likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Granit Xhaka reportedly among the first-team players to be sold as part of Mikel’s shake-up this summer.

Alexandre Lacazette finished as the top scorer for the club last summer , he is currently not tied to a long-term contract with the club whiles his current deal is set to expire next summer.
