Arsenal confirmed the departure of four players leaving the club

Arsenal’s ended in an electric form, having five successive victories that saw the club rise to eighth, was enough to get Gunners fans excited for the new season ahead at least. Mikel Arteta’s impressive ending got the fans more excited and also hoping for replacement of four players they’ll definitely be doing it without.

The club confirmed, following the expiry of some players, goalkeeper Mat Ryan, defender David Luiz and midfielders Dani Cabellos and Martin Odegaard will all be leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer. 

Mikel Arteta would have to replace those stars if they want to keep moving like they ended and also want to compete in Europe and for trophies.

New Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti made Martin Odegaard part of his plans to rebuild a formidable team, this move was one that broke Arsenal fans as they hoped to keen him. The 22-year-old Norwegian had made 15 appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring twice.

Dani Cabellos also a loanee from Madrid has been the star name of Arsenal during 2019/2020 season, made 49 league appearances over the two-year spell. He proved to be a great football player.

34-year old David Luiz made 53 appearance since joining from Chelsea, he has been Arsenals best central defender this season and Australian stopper Ryan on just three occasions in the top flight.

Martin Odegaard, Dani Ceballos and Mat Ryan join their parent clubs after their loan spells came to an end at Emirate Stadium.

A Press release by the club confirms that Under-23 and Under-19 players Levi Laing, Joseph Olowu, Luke Plange and Jason Sraha were also released.
