Arsenal join Sevilla and Fiorentina in the race to sign £21m-rated Porto winger
Arsenal are among the clubs chasing Porto’s Jesus Corona this summer.
Corona, who can play as a right-winger or right-back, enjoyed an impressive season with Porto last term, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists in 48 appearances in all competitions and he is attracting major interest across Europe.
Sevilla and Fiorentina are also keen on Corona.
The 28-year-old helped Porto reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League before losing to eventual winners Chelsea.
Corona’s existing deal with Porto is due to expire next summer and it is understood his contract includes a £21.4million (€25m) release clause which is active until mid-July.
Arsenal are weighing up a move for Corona as Mikel Arteta is looking to improve his right-sided options ahead of next season.
The Gunners could lose long-serving right-back Hector Bellerin this summer, while right-sided winger Willian failed to hit the heights at the Emirates following his arrival from Chelsea last summer.
