The letter stated that the new leadership have been charged to recommend consequential changes at the ranking membership to the national headquarters.

Graphic Online understands that, the affected members have also received individual letters asking them to handover immediately to the new leadership. There has been simmering tensions in the last one year about the minority leadership in Parliament.

Some members in the last one year have been clamouring for a change accusing Haruna Iddrisu and his Chief Whip, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka of not being potent enough in holding government accountable.

Meanwhile, some members of the NDC, especially from Tamale have expressed shock about the changes.

Some have expressed disagreement with the move by the national leadership, arguing that there has not been consultations.
